12 of 12- July

Alas, Wayne has absconded with the camera and is now in the 109-degree heat of Fort Worth, TX. As a result, I won't be able to download my photos until his return this week end. Still, I wanted to at least post my captions so that I'll be able to quickly update this blog with pics... once they are available. So here goes...

8:25 am- Kroger
Out of eggs. It's hard to make breakfast and cupcakes without them.


9:15 am- My Kitchen
Since it Wayne's birthday today, I cooked him a special breakfast. Newly-purchased eggs, sausage, and an english muffin. Yum.


10:20 am- My Living Room
Trying on his birthday gift... a new breathable, lightweight jacket for hiking and camping.


10:25 am- My Living Room
I also found a recycled plastic lumbar pack for dayhikes. Of course, I color coordinated a water bottle and first aid kit to go along with it :)


12:00 pm- The Couch
Since he's been feeling a little sick lately, Wayne promptly fell asleep on the couch in front of a Dirty Jobs marathon. Kata thought this a fine idea...and joined him.


1:15 pm- The TV
Since Wayne is still asleep, I changed the channel to Harry Potter week end on the Family Channel. This one is Chamber of Secrets.


1:35 pm- The Couch
Houdini has now replaced Kata as the napping mascot.


2:00 pm- My Kitchen
Since I couldn't track down the bakery that has a booth at the farmers' market, I decided to make cupcakes myself. Red velvet- Wayne's favorite.

2:40 pm- The Sink
Ugh. Dishes. This is why I usually buy cupcakes.


3:10 pm- The Living Room
Cupacke #1 (#2 and #3 soon followed)


6:25 pm- The Porch
Mmmmmm...grilled hamburgers for dinner.


6:40 pm- The Living Room
Dinner!


The rest of the evening was spent vegging out in front of the Food Network and packing for Texas...
